Grades
Professional builders' reputations depend on the quality of their
projects
which is why so many depend on Lavalley Pine.
High quality Eastern White Pine is selected by our foresters and
sent to our Sanford, Maine facilities. The logs are cut, graded,
kiln-dried, precision-planed and then graded again to the exacting
standards set and monitored by the Northeastern Lumber Manufacturers
Assoc. (NELMA). If it doesn't meet our standards, it will never
be called Lavalley Pine!
About 90% of the Lavalley Pine produced in our Sanford
mills is shipped to lumberyards across America. These selective
buyers depend on the reliable quality of Lavalley Pine.
